Assembly Technician Job Opening
Full time position. Salary commensurate with experience

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Assemble prototype glass devices. The device production steps include: fine wire straightening, chemical etch processes, sealing micron scale wire in glass and sanding the glass devices. The position also requires extensive work with microscopes. The position requires detailed documentation and data entry.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 3 years of experience working in a laboratory or clean room environment assembling intricate and small devices. High School diploma or equivalent. Must have demonstrated fine motor skills during previous employment and have previous experience working with a microscope. Must have experience with at least basic chemical use. Must be able to work independently according to written laboratory protocol. Must also be able to keep detailed notes in a laboratory notebook for quality control and have basic computer skills to perform data entry using an in house developed device tracking system.
